Fall 2012 Color Trends: Ultramarine Green in Plus Size

We’ve been talking about the fall 2012 color trends, and I’ve been hunting down different pieces for you in these trendy colors in plus size. If you missed my first post in the series on rhapsody, which is a sort of pastel purple shade, you can check it out here. I really like the Ultramarine Green shade – it’s a blue green shade that I think is wearable for a lot of different skin tones, and it goes well with gold and brown – both shades that make you feel like fall. Click “Read More” to see all of the pieces that I found in this shade!

This dress from Macy’s comes in a shade they call “Carribean,” but I’m calling it Ultramarine Green. It’s pretty close! This style will look good on just about everyone, and it’s a style that’s super easy to wear, as well. You can throw it on and go. A great look for the mom-on-the-go or for the younger ladies out there.

This leather moto jacket is one that we’ve seen on a couple of different blogs now, and there’s a reason! This is a gorgeous piece. The jacket is by John Carlisle, and it’s got that old school leather jacket feel to it. You could hop right onto  a motorcycle and ride off into the wind (after putting on your helmet, of course). The leather is reportedly “buttery soft,” too.

This sweater by Ralph Lauren is a lot more on the classic side. It’s actually more of a classic hunter green color, as well, but I think this piece could be great to have in the office. Good to know: I think it’s got double-breasted buttons on it. In case that’s NOT your style …

This wrap dress appears to be a bit too big for our model here (so beware … it might run large!), but this is a jersey dress that you can easily wear, too. It’ll flatter you, for sure! The waist is elasticized, as well, so if you’re losing weight or planning on getting pregnant soon – the dress will keep its shape with you!

Are you into this shade for fall? Do you already have a lot of this color in your wardrobe?
