did you know that it’s national swimsuit confidence week? well, it is. and it’s time to get confident in your suits ladies because bathing suit season is definitely here in some parts of the world, and it’s happily on its way to NYC soon. coming to a beach near you soon, as well, is me! in a bathing suit from lands’ end.
i know i know … lands’ end. most people think oh my god my mom shops there or my grandma shops there, but ladies. they have got some swimsuit options in plus sizes that are WORKING. and you know i love putting pictures of myself in my bathing suit all over the internet. here’s one that i tried from lands’ end:
now, here’s my review. if you are a lady with a heavier bust line – these suits have definitely got the support that you need, but you should order a size up.
now, if you have a round tummy, you should also probably order a size larger than you might normally buy, that’s because if you have the same issue that i do when it comes to coverage in the bottom half of your suit, or if you have a long torso (which i also have) then the suit will not be long enough. you’ll either have to hike it up and hope the front skirt covers you or you’ll have to let the boobie area hang down low (leaving you looking like you have saggy boob. no bueno.)
so, in conclusion, order a size up, and look mega FREAKIN cute this summer.
